Up for sale on Craigslist is this 1969 Honda SL350. These little street/dirt rippers are plentiful from all the manufacturers, but one in truly nice condition is special.
We will preface this all by saying that there’s a red flag in this post – all the pictures seem to be scans of photos taken in 2011, and for those of you keeping score out there, thats 8 goddamn years ago now.
But, seller claims the bike is in good-to-excellent condition (a few pits and dings int he original paint), and if that’s the case, we might go have a look.
This era SL350 was little more than a CB350 with a body kit- setup to be a little more dirt friendly, though we love the CBs this came from and we like this one too. Seller says everything is stock except the side covers, which appear to be from a later CB (maybe a K1).
Seller says that the bike has a new seat cover (not OEM looking), tires, and chain just 200 miles ago.
These litter rippers will run forever if you keep the carbs clean, and given the displacement, very few have done a TON of miles.
If things look right here, ad the tile is clear, $3700 is pretty reasonable for one of these, in fact we’ve seen really amazing ones go for twice that on the coasts.
